The Ossau valley is one of the three major bearnese valleys perpendicular to the pyrenees mountains.

This valley offers great mountain spaces and many natural riches.
The Ossau valley is also a certain way of life, with lively traditions, preservered villages surrounding the city of Laruns, a colorfull valley to be visited at all seasons.

Follow the spectacular roads to the col d'Aubisque, the col du Pourtalet and Spain.

The village of Castet

Discover the villages rich of historical buidings, the castle of Espalungue, the churches of Bielle, of Laruns, of Assouste the roman, of Beost the romano-gothic close to the XV and XVI centuries abbey.

Visit the chapel of Gabas, the only remaining part of the hospital built by Gaston IV during the XII century in order to help the pilgrims during their journey to Compostelle.
